About the Journal

 

Health and Medicine: Frontiers, Advances, and Emerging Trends in Health and Medical Sciences: Evidence-Based Innovations, Global Perspectives, and Future Directions is an international collaborative edited book chapter publication managed by PT Optimal Untuk Negeri.

 

This publication is designed to facilitate the dissemination of scholarly knowledge, evidence-based innovations, scientific reviews, professional experiences, and interdisciplinary perspectives relating to current developments in health and medical sciences. It encourages collaboration among academics, researchers, lecturers, postgraduate students, healthcare practitioners, editors, and reviewers from multiple countries.

 

The publication does not operate as a conventional periodical research journal. This OJS platform serves as the manuscript submission and editorial management system for an international collaborative book chapter series registered with an ISSN.

 

 

The publication aims to:

All submissions must be original, academically relevant, and prepared in accordance with the official Author Guidelines and book chapter template.

 

 

Each manuscript undergoes an initial editorial assessment to evaluate its relevance, originality, academic quality, structure, and conformity with the publication scope and Author Guidelines.

 

Manuscripts that pass the initial assessment are assigned to reviewers with expertise relevant to the chapter topic. Reviewers provide objective and constructive recommendations to assist authors in improving the academic quality, clarity, accuracy, and contribution of their manuscripts.

 

Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts based on editorial and reviewer comments. Final acceptance is determined after the manuscript has satisfactorily completed the review, revision, language editing, copyediting, and formatting processes.

 

 

Authors, editors, and reviewers are expected to uphold the principles of academic integrity and publication ethics.

 

Submitted chapters must:

 

• Be original and free from plagiarism.

• Not have been previously published.

• Not be under consideration by another publisher.

• Properly acknowledge all sources, ideas, data, tables, and figures.

• Avoid fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, and inappropriate data manipulation.

• Disclose potential conflicts of interest.

• Obtain ethical approval and informed consent when applicable.

• Receive approval from all listed authors before submission.

 

The editorial team reserves the right to conduct similarity checks, request revisions, reject manuscripts that violate publication ethics, or withdraw chapters when serious ethical concerns are identified.

 

 

Manuscripts must be written in clear and formal academic English. Authors are responsible for ensuring grammatical accuracy, consistency of terminology, clarity of argument, and overall readability.

 

Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to obtain professional language editing or academic proofreading before submitting the final manuscript.

 

 

All chapters must use the American Psychological Association, 7th edition, or APA 7th edition, for in-text citations and reference lists.

 

Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote to maintain consistency and accuracy.

 

 

Accepted chapters will be compiled and published as part of the International Collaborative Book Chapter. The published electronic book will be distributed in accordance with the access, publication, and dissemination policies established by PT Optimal Untuk Negeri.

 

 

Authors retain responsibility for the originality and legality of all materials included in their chapters. Copyright, licensing, republication, and distribution provisions will follow the agreement and publication policy communicated by PT Optimal Untuk Negeri.
