Hypertension remains a significant global health threat, often referred to as the "silent killer" due to its asymptomatic nature. This community service program aims to improve health literacy and the independence of health workers in Dukuhwaluh Village, Banyumas Regency, in managing hypertension. Using an interactive educational method based on behavioral theory, the program involved 17 health workers, with its effectiveness measured by comparing pre-test and post-test results. Quantitative data analysis showed a significant increase in the average knowledge score of participants from 45.88 to 85.29, with a mean deviation of 39.41 points. These findings were examined in depth using adaptations of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and Self-Determination Theory (SDT) to understand the mechanisms of attitude change at the community level. The results of the community service recommend a continuous educational approach and personalized materials based on participants' initial knowledge levels to maximize health impact at the village level
