Background: Cupping is a complementary therapy method performed either invasively or non-invasively through cupping and puncturing the skin's surface to remove metabolic waste or blood contaminated with toxins and oxidants from the body.

Background: Cupping is a complementary therapy method performed either invasively or non-invasively through cupping and puncturing the skin's surface to remove metabolic waste or blood contaminated with toxins and oxidants from the body.
Objective: This community service activity aims to improve sustainable promotive and preventive efforts in the Sindet hamlet
community. Specific Target: There will be ongoing promotive and preventive efforts implemented in the Sindet hamlet community.
Method: This community service utilized cupping therapy for the Sindet hamlet community.
Results: The community service participants were seven male and female residents of Sindet hamlet, Wukirsari, Bantul, aged 60 years and older. The participants ranged in age from 60 to 80. Residents were still apprehensive about cupping, as this therapy was new to them. Overall, this community service activity went smoothly. A key indicator of a desire to maintain health was the enthusiasm of the women to participate in the cupping treatment. However, residents requested prior education regarding cupping. After the cupping treatment, participants explained the benefits of cupping and who can administer it to them.
Conclusion: The community service activity went smoothly and according to plan. Participants reported feeling light and pain-free after the treatment.
