Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are the leading causes of morbidity and mortality and are often undetected in their early stages, particularly in rural communities. Early detection through free health screening programs combined with health education is an essential strategy for NCD control. This community service activity aimed to identify NCDs early and improve community knowledge through media-based health education in Dusun IV, Mata Air Village, Kupang Regency. The methods included health screening (blood pressure, random blood glucose, and uric acid levels) and education using posters and videos, with a pre-test and post-test evaluation design. A total of 56 participants were involved. The results showed that the proportion of hypertension and prehypertension was 69.64%, high blood glucose levels were found in 14.29% of participants, and hyperuricemia in 35.71%. Nutritional status indicated a double burden of malnutrition, with 21.43% underweight and 39.29% overweight. Educational outcomes demonstrated a significant increase in knowledge, with mean scores rising from 52.3 ± 7.4 to 82.7 ± 6.1. This activity indicates that free health screening is effective for early detection of NCDs, and media-based education significantly improves community knowledge. Sustainable and integrated implementation of free health screening programs is recommended to enhance NCD control in the community.
