OHN in Indonesia is rapidly developing as a strategic profession in the industrial sector, driven by awareness of promising job opportunities in the industry. There is a need for collaboration between practitioners and academics for synergy, prioritizing EBPN without conflicts of interest, so that OHN education is relevant to field practice. The method of conducting qualitative descriptive studies on EBPN in OHN involves a systematic approach to explore the experiences, perceptions, and implementation of evidence-based practices among occupational health nurses. OHN courses often appear as subtopics in 'Community Nursing and Management Nursing (K3 & Patient Safety).' The implementation of EBPN is still low among Indonesian OHN nurses due to barriers such as limited time, access to literature, and institutional support, although positive perceptions are dominant. The lack of independence is caused by the priority of the general clinical curriculum, but the 2026 trend shows discourse on professional OHN Master's programs through industry-university collaboration.
