Antibiotic resistance is a major impact of inappropriate antibiotic use, one of which is causing the body to become resistant to the same type of bacterial infection. The Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) shows that 35.2% of Indonesian households store medicines for self-medication. 27.8% store antibiotics, and 86.1% store them at home without a doctor's prescription. Therefore, it is important to provide insight and knowledge to the public about the correct use of antibiotics. This community service aims to increase public knowledge regarding health literacy regarding indications, dosage, how to use, duration of use, interval of use, side effects, storage methods, and disposal of antibiotics. The method used was lectures, distribution of leaflets, questions and answers about the correct use of antibiotics. The results obtained an increase in respondents' knowledge before and after the counseling. It is recommended that more counseling activities be conducted so that the public becomes wiser in using antibiotics correctly and safely and manages the medicines available in their environment, especially for their families
