Early Detection of Non-Communicable Diseases as a preventative measure for non-communicable diseases is typically conducted monthly and is a mandatory program managed by each community health center in each region through the active participation of health cadres. The Imogiri Community Health Center working area, which covers Wukirsari village, has launched a Posbindu in communnity helath center for the Elderly. The high incidence of diabetes mellitus has drawn the author's attention to community service activities through optimizing blood sugar levels to detect and prevent complications of DM. Physical activity through DM gymnastics is also a control measure for this disease.
The data collection technique for this activity was accidental sampling, attended by 51 respondents. The author used univariate analysis as the data analysis technique to describe the phenomenon in obtaining data on respondent characteristics. The results showed that the majority of respondents were female, with the largest age group being in the elderly group (29 respondents), while 40 respondents experienced elevated blood sugar levels, which is recommended for the elderly.
