The World Health Organization (WHO) released a report on the second year of the pandemic, which is considered deadlier than the first. New cases of COVID-19 infection are still being monitored in several countries around the world. As of May 15, 2021, global coronavirus infections have reached more than 162 million people, killing more than 3 million people worldwide. More than 140 million patients have recovered. The goal of community service is training in making natural hand sanitizer and improving community welfare. The method of community service is training in making hand sanitizer from natural ingredients such as betel leaves. The activity took place in Mandala Village, Makassar City, from April to October 2022. The equipment used to make this hand sanitizer includes a pan, stove, measuring cup, becker glass, funnel, dropper, knife, strainer, and spray bottle. Meanwhile, the materials used to make this natural hand sanitizer are betel leaves, aloe vera gel, lime, and distilled water. The activity partner is the Head of Mandala Village Makassar City, and the target group is Posyandu cadres and cooperative administrators.
