PENYULUHAN MEMBANGUN KESADARAN KELUARGA DALAM MENCEGAH PERNIKAHAN DINI PADA REMAJA DI PMB SITI MASRURROH OGAN KOMERING ULU TIMUR SUMATERA SELATAN TAHUN 2026.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase family knowledge and awareness in preventing early marriage in the PMB Siti Masruroh work area. The problem found is the persistence of early marriage practices influenced by low family knowledge, economic factors, and a lack of understanding of the health, psychological, and social impacts. The activity method used was health counseling with a lecture approach, discussion, and question and answer session to 30 participants consisting of parents and teenagers. Evaluation was carried out using a pretest and posttest to measure the level of knowledge of participants before and after the activity. The results of the activity showed an increase in participant knowledge, marked by an increase in the knowledge category both after the counseling. This activity successfully increased family understanding of the importance of the role of parents in supervising teenagers and the negative impacts of early marriage. In conclusion, health counseling is effective in increasing family awareness to prevent early marriage in the community.
