Background: Pregnant women with anemia continue to face a public health crisis since it heightens their vulnerability to issues throughout pregnancy and delivery. Regular ingestion of iron tablets is one effort to prevent anemia. Due to factors such as ignorance, fear of adverse effects, and absence of supervision, pregnant women still do not adhere to the recommended dosage of added iron tablets. Objective: Health education and consumption monitoring are at the heart of this community service activity's mission to help pregnant women get the most out of their increased iron tablets regimen. Methods: The implementation entails providing health education through the use of control cards, interactive lectures, and group discussions, as well as the administration of iron tablets. Pregnant women who visit health centers for prenatal treatment are the intended participants in the event. Measurements of pre- and post-educational knowledge levels, as well as compliance with the administration of additional iron tablets, formed the basis of the evaluation. Results: This exercise demonstrated that pregnant women were better informed on the benefits, proper consumption, and significance of taking mengonsusmsi tablets as directed. The tracking of consumption also revealed that pregnant women were more diligent in taking their iron tablets as prescribed. Discussion: Promotive and preventative efforts involving health education and consumption monitoring have successfully reduced the risk of anemia in pregnant women.
