Menopause was a significant biological transition phase for women, often accompanied by physical and psychological complaints that could diminish their quality of life. At Posyandu Kasih Ibu Koto Panjang, knowledge regarding the management of menopause was limited, necessitating structured educational efforts. Objective: This community service activity aimed to enhance the understanding and empowerment of menopausal women regarding the determinant factors affecting their quality of life. The activity was implemented using interactive lectures, focus group discussions (FGD), and demonstrations of relaxation techniques. The program was attended by 22 menopausal women within the working area of Posyandu Kasih Ibu. Evaluation was conducted by comparing pre-test and post-test results to measure the increase in participants' knowledge levels. The results indicated a significant increase in participants' knowledge by 40%. Prior to the education, the majority of participants perceived menopausal complaints as uncontrollable; however, after the activity, participants understood the importance of nutrition, physical activity, and social support as key determinants of quality of life. Furthermore, participants were able to practice independent relaxation techniques to reduce anxiety. Empowerment programs through health education were effective in improving the preparedness and quality of life of menopausal women. It was recommended that the Posyandu incorporate menopause education as a routine agenda within their elderly healthcare services.
