ABSTRACT
The postpartum period is the recovery period of the mother's reproductive organs after giving birth, which lasts from the first day of giving birth to 6 weeks or about 42 days. During the recovery period, the mother will experience various physical and mental changes and most of them are physiological after giving birth, this period is quite important for health workers to always monitor because less than optimal implementation will increase the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) such as bleeding or complications during the postpartum period, the activity method includes providing reproductive health education for postpartum mothers which has a big influence on respondents' understanding of postpartum mothers. Activity Results, Good understanding will stimulate the family's attitude in providing support for mothers to carry out postpartum examinations until KF 4 regularly, so that it will contribute greatly to improving the health status of postpartum mothers, namely accelerating physical recovery (Birth Wounds, Uterine involution, ensuring Quality Breast Milk, preventing complications and complications. The greater the support of postpartum mothers for families and cadres in postpartum examinations until KF 4, the better the reproductive health of postpartum mothers. Healthy postpartum mothers will minimize the occurrence of postpartum complications and reduce MMR in Indonesia as well as maintain overall reproductive health during the postpartum period.
