EDUKASI MEDIA BOOKLET TERHADAP PERILAKU PERSONAL HYGIENE REMAJA PUTRI SAAT MENSTRUASI

Abstract

Menstruation is the periodic shedding of the uterine lining consisting of blood and body tissue through the vagina. Menstrual hygiene is a component of personal hygiene and plays an extraordinary role in the state of human health behavior, especially the prevention of reproductive organ dysfunction. The purpose of community service is to determine the educational media booklet on the personal hygiene behavior of adolescent girls during menstruation at SMPN 5 Bengkulu City. The target is 66 seventh grade adolescent girls conducted in July 2025. The stages of Community Service are identification of behavior, trial booklets on personal hygiene. Data collection through counseling, distributing questionnaires, interviews and observations. The results of community service show changes in behavior before and after receiving counseling materials. Before counseling good behavior 0%, adequate behavior 40%, poor behavior 26%. After counseling 48% of adolescents behaved well, 18% behaved adequately. Personal hygiene education should be carried out continuously and integrated into school programs..
