Childbirth is a physiological process that carries a risk of perineal damage during the emergence of the baby's head. Injury to the genital tract occurring during spontaneous delivery or as a result of episiotomy is referred to as perineal trauma. Over two-thirds of vaginal births need perineal repair. This exercise aims to enhance pregnant women's understanding of perineal massage to avert perineal rupture during labor. This activity employs lectures and administers pretest and posttest evaluations using questionnaires to evaluate the enhancement of participant knowledge. The exercise had a total of 22 pregnant women as participants. The activity findings indicated an increase in participant knowledge ratings. It is concluded that employing the lecture technique in teaching can enhance pregnant women's understanding of the advantages of perineal massage in reducing perineal rupture. In the future, analogous training and counseling are anticipated for the advantages of various massages for pregnant women and those in delivery.
