Abstract

Danger signs during pregnancy contribute to increased maternal and infant mortality. Around 260,000 women die during and after pregnancy in 2023. This can be prevented by providing education. This community service is a type of descriptive study conducted in April 2025 in Ulunggolaka Village, Latambaga District, Kolaka Regency. A total of 15 pregnant women acted as respondents who were given education in the form of lectures, selected using the total sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The results showed pretest knowledge of 59.7% and after the posttest, there was an increase in knowledge to 97.7%. So health education is highly recommended to be carried out with various media and methods so that health information can be widely disseminated
