The multiple roles of women—as wives, mothers, and individuals expected to succeed in various domains—often lead to psychological stress. This pressure is further intensified by exposure to social media, which promotes unrealistic standards of female perfection. Such conditions are also experienced by mothers in the “Komunitas Rumah Kita” Yogyakarta, who report symptoms of stress, emotional exhaustion, and feelings of inadequacy in fulfilling their roles. This community engagement program aimed to support these women through mental health education and psychosocial-based sessions. A participatory approach was employed, involving observation, interviews, and group training. The results showed improved participants’ understanding of mental health issues and positive changes in their mindset and emotional responses. The intervention also fostered social support among community members. This program demonstrates that community-based mental health support can enhance women's psychological resilience in facing the burdens of social expectations and role demands.
