Abstract

Silian Satu Village was an area of Silian Raya District, this district has a large coconut plantation area. The local community produces household products ie coconut oil. Household coconut oil production produces coconut dregs with low economic value. This community service (PkM) activity aimed to improve the community's knowledge and skills in making soap from coconut oil and dregs. The PkM activities were carried out through a community empowerment approach with a participatory approach method. The PkM activities were evaluated by the increase in community knowledge and skills and the availability of soap products. The results of this activity were that through training activities, the knowledge and skills of the Silian Satu Village community could be improved in making soap from coconut oil and dregs by using local resources.
