Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever remained a public health problem that was strongly influenced by limited community knowledge and awareness of environmental-based prevention measures. This community service activity aimed to improve public knowledge regarding the prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever through multimedia-based health education. The activity was conducted in the Gupit area, Kadirojo, Muntilan, involving local residents as the primary target group. An interactive educational approach was applied using a one-group pretest–posttest design to evaluate changes in participants’ knowledge. Data were collected through knowledge assessments administered before and after the educational intervention and were analyzed descriptively and using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test. The results demonstrated a statistically significant increase in community knowledge following the implementation of the educational program. The contextual delivery of materials and the use of audiovisual media effectively enhanced participants’ understanding of risk factors and preventive measures for Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever. This activity concluded that multimedia-based health education was effective as a promotive and preventive strategy to support community-based dengue control efforts.
