PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN MELALUI EDUKASI PENCEGAHAN STUNTING PADA KELUARGA DENGAN ANAK STUNTING

The stunting prevalence trend in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) decreased from 21.41% to 16.4% from 2018 to 2022, but increased by 18% in 2023. Jambidan Village is a working area within Banguntapan Subdistrict, Bantul Regency. The majority of residents in Jambidan Village earn their living as farmers and laborers. Jambidan Village is one of the villages implementing the Family Hope Program (PKH) for low-income families in Jambidan Village. The number of stunting cases in Jambidan Village, which covers 4.04% of all families in Jambidan Village, is categorized as low-income.
The objective of this activity is to increase the knowledge of mothers of toddlers about healthy feeding for low-income families in Jambidan Village, Banguntapan Subdistrict, Bantul.
The method of this community service activity is to identify data from low-income communities with children at risk of stunting through health cadres, followed by education and support for providing good nutrition for toddlers.
The results obtained showed an increase in knowledge among mothers after education was carried out through pre- and post-education knowledge measurements, namely the good category from 11 respondents to 14 respondents and sufficient knowledge from 11 to 7 respondents.
